is there a … is there a procedure to act in this scenario???? not if your buddy cuts your line in a pool lol…. say im 90′ and in a cave, meaning i need to make my way out slowly and smoothly…. kink the hose a possibility ?? what about the regulator hose ??? yes i have a pony…. just wandering if its possible to fix for the moment…. i cant afford to chop up gear lol wish i could but cant….. thanks

That is some funny … That is some funny stuff!!! I was a Clearance Diver with the Canadian Navy, and have blown a few hp disks, and a few hoses. Gets loud, but never really had an issue. Hope your underwater staff had fun making that. Stay safe. Cheers, B.

2 stage regs don;t work like that. 1st stage reduces pressure to an intermediate pressure – usually 10-11 bar. 2nd stage then reduces this to ambient pressure. Therefore the air escapes from a blown hose at the intermediate pressure regardless of your actual depth. It is also why you need higher performance regulators for deep diving as most regulators will not work at depths greater than 100m (10 bar)
in a real situation … in a real situation yeah you take your budy safety regulator and then he goes to switch off your tank if you are not able to do it yourself
i would have no … i would have no clue cuz im not a diver and know nothin bout this but couldnt u swim behind him and simply turn the valve off?….. i mean in my head it will stop the oxygen right?
Try that at 100ft … Try that at 100ft or more!!!!! Also, I agree with everyone throat+knife??? I wish my CD would let us play like that. You all have entirely way to much time on your hands lol. At least you did it in a pool!

That is some funny …
