Sidemount Essentials Training with Steve Martin
Sidemount is by far the best configuration to use for developing every divers essential skill set. This video highlights what is covered with the side mount essentials training. There is a PADI and PADI TecRec option for divers wanting certification and a non-certification option for experienced divers. These dives were made using the Steve Bogaerts designed razor side mount harness. The “modular bcd” or buoyancy device being used in this video, is a specialist “cave diving” piece of equipment, requiring specialist training. Sidemount buoyancy devices for “Open Water” diving environment may require more lift capacity – filmed in Mexico by Jason from www.scubavideoservices.com, edited by Steve from www.sidemountscubadiving.com

Thank you for this …
Thank you for this video. I’ll continue to use my present back tank configuration, but I enjoy seeing good buoyancy and manuevers made with confidence.
